Fang Limin carved these images on plywooplywood. the blocks in both positive and negative form, with the smaller elements kept far enough apart for them to be inked in a different colour, yet printed at the same time. This is a contemporary technical interpretation of douban woodblock printing. The colours and tree motifs clearly reference Autumn, but the image is an abstract one. There is a distinct sense of personal meanings here.
