Liu Jing, Master Series, at the Cleveland Museum of Art, USA

Liu Jing is the Second Prize Winner of the Third Muban Printmaking Award.  Cleveland Musuem of Art has collected four prints of Liu Jing’s Master Series last year.  

Dr Clarissa von Spee, Chair of Asian Art and Curator of Chinese Art, wrote:

“Liu Jing’s Master Series proved to be so popular among visitors at the Cleveland Museum of Art that the museum made the exceptional decision to show their newly acquired four prints for an extended period of altogether 1 year. The prints were previously on display in the exhibitions, Facing the Ancestors: Chinese Portraits and Figure Painting  (Chinese Gallery 240a, 241c.
