MET at LOPF 2026
The Muban Educational Trust (MET) returned to the London Original Print Fair (LOPF) 2026 for another busy and successful year at Somerset House, continuing its commitment to promoting contemporary Chinese printmaking to international audiences.
In preparation for this year’s fair, MET launched an open call inviting Chinese artists to submit works for consideration. The response was extremely strong, with more than 60 artists applying to participate. Following a careful selection process, 15 artists were chosen to send prints for the exhibition. In total, over 60 new prints were presented at the fair this year, representing a broad range of styles and approaches within contemporary Chinese woodblock printmaking.
The introduction of these new works proved to be one of the highlights of MET’s stand. Many visitors arrived already familiar with MET through its participation over the past three years and were particularly excited to discover new artists and fresh editions. The fair once again demonstrated the growing reputation and recognition of MET within the international print community.
Overall, LOPF 2026 proved to be another important platform for MET to introduce new Chinese printmakers to an international audience, strengthen relationships with collectors and supporters, and continue building visibility for contemporary Chinese woodblock printmaking in the UK and beyond.
